This CD-ROM is designed to engage novice investors in the process of how securities markets work. The course begins with excercises designed to encourage goal-setting and asset comparisons. Students will experience various methods of choosing a broker and opening an account. Participants will be introduced to stock analysis tools and enter simulated stock trades.

Brief explanation of instructor(s) experience:
Former member of both the Chicago Board of Trade and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. While on the floor, Mr. Owings instructed a series of training programs for new floor traders. He is a lecensed broker holding Series 7, 24 and 63licenses and is also a Chartered Market Technician candidate. After leaving the floor, Mr. Owings has turned his attention to designing educationally sound independent training for traders and investors.
