It normally invests at least 25% of assets in investment-grade debt, including U.S. government obligations, convertibles, and corporate debt. Class A shares have front loads; B shares have deferred loads, higher 12b-1 fees, and conversion features; C shares have level loads; Institutional shares are sold to institutional investors. Prior to Dec. 30, 1998, the fund was named Delaware Fund - Class B.
