Brief fund description:
Dresdner RCM Global Small Cap Fund - Class I seeks appreciation of capital. The fund normally invests at least 65% of assets in equity securities issued by small domestic and foreign companies. These companies generally have market capitalizations of no more than $1 billion. The fund may invest without limit in foreign equity securities, including those issued in emerging markets; however, the fund may invest no more than 10% of assets in any one emerging-market country. Prior to Dec. 11, 1997, the fund was named RCM Global Small Cap Fund. After Dec. 31, 1998, the fund changed to a multi-class structure.
