Brief fund description:
First American International Fund - Class A seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 65% of assets in equities traded in at least three foreign countries. These may include common and preferred stocks, convertible securities, warrants, and American and European depositary receipts. The fund may invest in emerging-market countries. It may also invest up to 35% of assets in U.S. companies, although it attempts to remain fully invested in foreign equities. Class A shares have front loads; B shares have deferred loads, 12b-1 fees, and conversion features; Y shares are available to institutional investors only. On July 31, 1998, Pacific European Growth Fund - Class A and B merged into the fund.
