The fund invests in a combination of equity and fixed- and variable-income securities, typically maintaining at least 20% of assets in each of the two types. The equity portion of the fund consists of common stocks and convertible securities. The debt portion consists primarily of investment-grade corporate bonds and U.S. government obligations. Class A shares have front loads; C shares have deferred loads and higher 12b-1 fees. Past fund names: EBI Flex Fund and Invesco Advisor Flex Portfolio - Class C. On June 21, 1999, AIM Advisor Multiflex Fund - Class C merged into the fund.
