Evergreen Aggressive Growth Fund - Class C seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 65% of assets in common stocks issued by emerging-growth companies. These are companies that management considers to be in the developing stage of their business life cycles and have potential for rapid growth in sales and earnings; they are typically small- to medium-sized companies. Class A shares have front loads; B shares have deferred loads, higher 12b-1 fees, and conversion features; C shares have level loads; Y shares are designed for institutional investors. On Aug. 14, 1997, Keystone America Hartwell Emerging Growth Fund - Class C merged into the fund.
